Cranberries

Hey Y'all!

I hope this post finds you doing well. Cactus & Ivy uses the highly moisturizing oil of Cranberry Seed. It is the only carrier oil available with a one to one ratio of Omega 6 (linoleic) to Omega 3 (alpha-linolenic) fatty acids. It also contributes to the lipid barrier protection of the skin and helps with moisture retention. It is rich in tocopherols (vitamin E), Vitamin A, tocotrienols, phospholipids and phytosterols. Cranberry seed oil can aid in the relief of itchy, scaly, irritated skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Our Cran Citrus Scrub is a creamy delight for your skin. A sunny yellow body polish with bright red specks of cranberry seeds for extra exfoliation. Lemongrass gives this polish an invigorating and crisp aroma.

Here's another item I would like to share with you. My Mom makes an awesome Cranberry Salad that has become a staple at all our family gatherings. Now I'm a gal that enjoys food and this stuff is good enough to eat all by itself! Yummers!!

Cranberry Salad

16oz + 13oz Sugarless Cherry Jello
2 pks Cranberries, ground

1 c Sugar or Spenda

1 Ground Apple with peel

3/4 c Chopped Celery

Optional & totally worth adding

1 small can Crushed Pineapple

1 c Chopped Pecans

Let cranberries sit in sugar (Splenda) for 1/2 an hour after they are ground. Mix Jello with 3 cups of water. Add to the rest of the ingredients and put in the fridge.

Thanks for stopping by y'all. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
